Eden's Garden Cottage was very busy this summer! But you may be in luck ... we have a spot for guests starting August 29th - September 3rd. Come spend the last summer weekend before labor day and school starts!

The weather has been beautiful at the lake-- not too hot, clear skies and the lake and rivers are still full of water. The crowds have thinned out with kids back to school. Autumn is here and we have been lucky enough to have 3 large groups of swallows and martins (over 100) gathering in our garden and over the river before migrating south for the winter. The pair of Kingfishers who patrol the river outside La Briquerie have become quite extrovert appearing for several guests and their cameras. The weather is still glorious and in spite of the lack of rain the flowers are still blooming. On the activity front I have been doing a lot of investigation during the last few weeks and have found a host of new things to do in the nearby towns and villages, such as trekking with a donkey, jet ski-ing on a local lake, etc. so will be posting soon about our new finds.
