We are making our house available for short or long term rentals. It is a farmhouse on the edge of Saugerties village in a very quiet on a quiet picturesque roadbut convenient area. 20-minute walk to the village, known for its eclectic mix of antique shops, restaurants, boutiques and our favorite, the Partition Street Wine Shop, where proprietors Suzanne and Jordan offer knowledgeable advice, fun tastings and other events. 10-minute walk from the beach along Esopus Creek. Vigorous 45-minute hike to Saugerties’ famed lighthouse, which offers a beautiful view of the Hudson River and a kayak launch.

The house is furnished and has two bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a fully equipped modern kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, TV and cable connection, high-speed Internet connection, central air and heat, washer & dryer. On approx. 1/3 acre. Large front porch and picket fence.

30-minute drive from cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing at Mohonk Mountain, or skiing and snowshoeing at Wyndham Mountain. Saugerties has an indoor ice-scating rink. Nearby warm weather activities include hiking, bicycle trails, kayaking, and swimming. 12 miles from Woodstock Village. Budget Travel Magazine rated Saugerties one of the 10 coolest small towns in America. It is home to Horse Shows in the Sun (HITS) in the summer and the Garlic Festival in October.
